CALOMA

Carlos Mario Vélez (CALOMA) was born in Medellín in 1974. He grew up influenced by classical music and hard rock, finding the guitar his first instrument to express his passion for art. He discovered the electronic scene through trance in the late 90s and early 2000s and since then he came closer to knowing electronic culture. As a result of the pandemic, he started as a DJ on online stations and shared a booth in some clubs in the city, with artists such as Juan Pablo Torrez, Najeys, Suntech, Mauro Aguirre, among others. In 2021 he began his project to train as a producer at Lennar Music, and his influences are found in the genres of progressive house, melodic techno and progressive trance.
