Candy Man began his career on the dusty streets of Eersterus, Hammanskraal North of Pretoria, where he was introduced into the world of music production and began making music on borrowed computers from 2010. He saved up to build his own setup and got a computer three years later, he released an afro house banger called Caribbean Dance, which can be marked as his breakthrough in the music scene. He started band called Drumatic Soul which took the afro house/tech scene by storm and getting to work with vast artists and producers around the world. In 2015 the due entered the Captain Morgan Remix Competition and got spot number 3 on the top 10 finalist. In 2018 he decided to go solo.
