HNGVR

Beat-crafter, DJ and Samsara Beats head honcho. HNGVR, or simply Rob when he isn't on stage, spent many years developing his own sound and playing his sets in many festivals, clubs and renegades around all the Bay Area in California and his native island, Sardinia. Halftime, Slowfast & Footwork are HNGVR’s main influences and inspirations but his music is dificult to classify in a specific genre; complex polyrhythmic drum patterns meet fat basslines and soft melancholic melodies, often enriched by chopped vocal samples. He finds himself comfortable on that thin line in between dancefloor music and introspective beats. His passion and dedication to music and all the connections that music creates, pushed him to found Samsara Beats and give his contribution to the Underground Bass Music community.
