With influences ranging from disco to funk, UKG, and of course, house, Chicago-based DJ Monty Kiddo has become a well-respected and sought-after name in the city's house music scene. Coming from a household that regularly played country legends like Garth Brooks & Tim McGraw, Monty diverted on his own musical journey & discovered the sounds of disco, funk, & UK garage which would later influence his unique style of house music. While he’s been producing and DJing since 2017, Monty only recently got involved in the local scene and began playing live shows in 2021. Getting billed as his legal name Cody Kirby, the skill and passion for the craft was evident.
