Ashal S is an electronic music DJ and producer who was born in South Africa. From his early days he was inspired by the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Oakenfold, Cattaneo, Moshic and other progressive allstars. In 2001 he decided to get his first pair of decks and that's where his musical journey began. Being a true lover of progressive music he started to play at outdoor festivals, clubs, bars in and around SA. He describes his mission is to promote progressive music in SA as people aren’t really exposed to this genre of dance music. His musical style range from ambient electronica thru to deep emotive & atmospheric progressive house with an ethnic vibe.
