BASSFRIEND was born Ian Nashville in a family surrounding that adores art, especially music. Growing up as a teen in the 90's, he learned the guitar and formed a Punk-Rock band with his younger brother. His appreciation of art and beautiful things has always got him the attention to the uniqueness of sound and melody in any genre of music. The rst step into DJ career was when lifestyle changed at the dawn of the internet era. Everything he learned to develop his technic in proper DJ was absorbed much through online courses and tutorials. Listed twice as the rst Sarawakian to be listed in the Top 10 Producer of The Year Category by The Malaysia Choons Awards in 2009 and 2009. Being recognized and supported by labels from the
