Born in Riga, the capital city of Latvia in 1988, JaneG (Jevgenija Mihailova) is from a musically gifted family. Growing up with her mother being a very accomplished pianist and her father having an incredibly unique singing voice, it only required for her to take a little notice of what surrounded her at home before she got engrossed in music herself.Aged 6, her learning about music really began. Jevgenija was a child who did not just listen to what she heard, she lived within it, felt it and knew it would play a big part in her life, even at this age. At 12, she embarked on training in drama and dance and by 15, under the supportive influence of her father, she studied Russian poetry of the Silver Age
