Meanda’s musical career began as a DJ in 2002 reaching 3rd place at a big Austrian DJ contest out of 70 competitors. Gigs on several Austrian and German radio stations followed this recent success. The demand for his services as a DJ reached throughout Austria to different countries in Middle and Eastern Europe. Some of his sets even were recorded and broadcasted at some popular Austrian private television channels. With his first release on JOOF Recordings in 2009 Meanda started his journey as a producer, releasing on different labels from Spain, UK and Colombia. An0 outstanding highlight is his remix for the Art of Trance single Chung Kuo which is a remake of a Vangelis Classic, to find at the label Porcupine Records/Platipus Music.
