Propellar

Propellar transports the vibrant danceability of electronic music through organic live performances and memorable melodies, made for intimate living room coziness as well as uniting group hugs in your favorite club. Being rooted between house, disco and indie pop, their studio productions and stage performances combine chunky beats and overdriven analogue synthesizers with reverb-soaked vocals and guitars, all recorded in their studio in Berlin Lichtenberg. The two faces behind Propellar, Jan and Justin are best friends and found their shared love for electronic music back in their study years in Mannheim, both being part of different pop bands. While producing and writing songs for and with different artists, e.g. Alle Farben, Y.V.E. 48 among others, they began shaping their own unique sound.
