Pseudopolis

Scottish DJ, producer and label owner Pseudopolis aka Ethan Har field, makes music that draws inspiration from the lineage of UK dance and sound-system culture, from Jungle and Garage to more modern, hybrid UK Techno sounds, with a focus on low- end and percussive elements. In 2017 he released his debut EP on his own Redstone Press imprint which he runs alongside Lewis Lowe. The label’s focus is to release original and forward-thinking Bass music from Scotland and beyond. Pseudopolis' Pressure EP followed in 2019 again on Redstone Press which gained support from Eris Drew, Midland, Batu, Re:ni and many more. Since then he has had tracks released on Belters (Huntleys and Palmers), Hilltown Disco and Kouncil Kuts.
