Richie Dio

Music has always been a passion for Richie Dio since the age of six, when he began his musical instrument training in piano, drums and percussion. Since then, his music performance has taken many forms over the years, including the beginning of his DJ'ing in 1992. Richie was inspired by the sounds of progressive, tribal and garage house, and a trip to London in the mid-1990s, where he found himself immersed in the sounds of the London underground, further catapulted his interest in house music. His movement into music production was a natural outgrowth of his many years of musical training and inspired in large part by his cousin, Grammy and Emmy-nominated songwriter and former American Idol Judge Kara DioGuardi.
