Zathaalgor has once again evolved their brand of hardcore dance music, partnering with New York label 241 to bring you a new EP of dancefloor ragers, carefully crafted to blow minds and soundsystems alike. ‘Rheius/Jukqliszt’ is a unique take on classic rave sounds, inspired by early Jungle and Dark Drum and Bass records. The EP explores the dualism of breakbeat music – with ‘Rheius’ exploring the spacious, hypnotising qualities of DnB from artists such as Goldie and Dillinja, and ‘Jukqliszt’ going all-in with amiga-esque hardcore break torture, reminiscent of Shitmat and DJ Kuroneko. Remixes by garage wizard Prizefight and hardcore legend Encrypter accentuate this dualism even further.
