Mortimer Barten

I am a Techno DJ and producer with a penchant for mixing and mastering. Originally from the very north of Germany, I am now based in the ancient city of Trier. As a kid I found my passion in rhythm by learning to play drums, percusison and various melodic instruments. After a few band experiences in different genres, I discovered my love for electronic music and worked with early DAWs and hardware and added the art of DJing to my portfolio later on. The combination of digital and analog synths, using field recorded samples and getting creative with the limitations at hand are central to my production process.
