Konquest

Matt Webb (AKA Konquest) immersed himself in music from a very young age. Learning drums from age 10 and classical piano from age 13, he quickly discovered he had a natural ability and talent in musical composition. Studying music theory in higher education, he met a group of friends that led Matt to his very first illegal rave party. There he witnessed his first live electronic DJ playing jungle music. It was from this moment his path changed from classical composition to electronic music. Matt began producing drum and bass in 2005 under the alias “Block Dodger”. His early influences were primarily based around the early Neuro sound pioneered by Ed Rush and Optical. In 2007 Matt received his first official club booking and in 2010 was signed to well established German Neurofunk label “Trust In Music”.
