Volkt

Based in Istanbul, Volkan Erden aka Volkt, started chasing his musical career as a guitarist when he was 14. He attended Berklee College of Music for Contemporary Writing and Production. While studying, his interests shifted in sound design and music technology. For 3 years, he has worked in many studios and live venues as a sound engineer, while producing and performing electronic music. As a former rock guitarist, some of his biggest influences are bands like Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Emerson, Frank Zappa and Deep Purple. Now he is making music combining his rock influenced melodic background with his knowledge in sound design and engineering. Since 2019, he also started to DJ, in mostly techno and deep techno genres.
