Alvaro Moreno

Alvaro Moreno (Alvaro Saura), Spain. Trained as musician, spent many years playing bass guitar and double bass for jazz and modern music bands. He moved to Aoteroa/New Zealand in 2019 where he started a new adventure as a Dj and composer/producer, while teaching bass guitar at Nelson Centre of Musical Arts. Based in Whakatū/Nelson, launched Nelson Techno Collective on 2021 with the objective of bringing the sounds from the European electronic underground scene to the South Island. The collective hosted local events with very good reception from the audience. But not only techno, music experimentation and ambient sounds captivated his attention too.
