Anoesis

Letchworth based electronic music producer Howard Dodd grew up in Hove, and has operated under the Anoesis moniker since 1994. His first releases on West London's D*fusion label aimed to combine the intensity of house music and cut up beats, with a nod to cinema and soundscapes. Following the drum and bass release Shatter on Octopus (a Fabio favourite at Speed London), Howard took a break from vinyl to concentrate on life and family, making a number of releases on the Vorbic net label, under multiple artist names. Continuing interest in his 90s work led to reissues of Anoesis and Oxidation recordings on Semmi Sellang (Budapest), Cosmic Soup (London) and Spray (Berlin), in addition to new and old material under Doc Bozique, and more recenly two new albums on Cosmic Soup
