Long-time friends Darren Rees and Sebastian Markiewicz are the creative minds behind the brand new Brookland project. Their respective solo production careers, spanning three decades, have been highlighted by releases on John Digweed's Bedrock Records. Support has followed from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo; the list reads like a who's who of the scene's most influential players. This solo work has been interspersed with infrequent but hugely successful collaborations, including further releases on Bedrock and others. The team are now brought together for a more closely intertwined project; Brookland. The 'Ninth Planet' collection was immediately snapped up by the legendary Fade Records for Chris Fortier’s ‘The Next We’ compilation and the tracks have since enjoyed ongoing support by leading tastemakers.
