Direct Drive started out back in 1996 as DJ-GoA where he spent his time learning to mix on Soundlab belt drive turn tables. Making mix tapes to pass around school, his passion for music was inspired by the Brain Bashers, Paul Oakenfold and Tony Di Vit. After saving up and buying his first set of direct drive decks he ventured out into local pubs and clubs in Exeter. Having always had a musical ear, it wasn’t long before he started dabbling in production.
