Emism

Emism is the solo project of Brooklyn-based electronic artist Mani Farhang. His sound effortlessly blurs the line between house, progressive and tech house, fusing influences from the likes of Rufus, Disclosure, Snakehips, and Tchami. A global citizen, previously based in Sydney, London, Shanghai and Brazil, his debut release ‘Paros’ in 2019, a vocal chopped and glitchy synth wave house beat became a Martin Garrix favorite. Continuing to experiment with tonality, his next release Ghost was described as “an atmospherically arrestive single” by the A & R Factory and signed to German label BNU Records. Emism has kept busy with a release of his four track EP - NEON, a reboot of Maxim Lany’s ‘Closer’, and latest single ‘Naxos’ (co-written and featuring the vocals of Lola Rhodes).
