Originally from Los Angeles, Ben began his music career as a guitarist in a touring heavy metal band in 2006. In 2008, he transitioned to professional recording engineering, owning Skyblue Studios where he worked with record labels such as Uprising Records (Fall Out Boy) and well known artists such as KRS-ONE, Father M.C., Jeffrey Star, T. MILLS, and Fortunate Youth. Later, Ben explored DJing and earned a residency at bustling establishments throughout Southern California. He eventually joined the US Air Force which allowed him to travel the world. DJing in Anchorage, Alaska, he discovered his electronic music alter ego, Figure 9. His debut song "Step into You" showcased mixed genres with a surprising guitar solo. Ben also produced an EDM track "Everybody Jump" and a deep house tune "Get Up
