Hailing from Hessen, Chris Gruber, who lived in Hamburg, left his mark on the Hanseatic city's nightlife in the noughties with his take on deep house in various roles: Whether as resident DJ of the Baalsaal, A&R of the affiliated label, employee of the record store Underground Solution or producer on platforms such as Diynamic, Liebe*Detail, Dessous Recordings, Bloop or Drumpoet Community. After touring worldwide on bigger stages, until he met Tim Eder in his old home in 2010. After the first gig together it was clear that both have a very similar view of house music. So followed a return to smaller, intimate clubs with ground level booth and familiar audience.
