Illangelo

Carlo "Illangelo" Montagnese is best known for his formative collaboration with The Weeknd. He functioned as an executive producer, writer and mixer on The Weeknd's innovative 2011 mixtapes "House of Balloons", "Thursday" and "Echoes of Silence" later assembled into the 2012 album "Trilogy". Illangelo continued creating critically acclaimed works with The Weeknd like "Beauty Behind The Madness" (2015) and "After Hours" (2020). Beyond The Weeknd, Illangelo's unique sound has attracted collaborations with Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, Drake, Post Malone, Alicia Keys and others. Recently, Illangelo has been working with Grimes on her forthcoming album and co-featuring on singles like "I Wanna Be Software". In 2013, he released his solo concept album “History of Man” under Bromance Records.
