By the age of six Jakob Faber started learning classical guitar, played in rock bands since he was fourteen and got a record deal after he finished school. He paid his bills by writing and producing for himself and artists of various genres since then.As "John Voltaire" Jakob remixed/produced for Andy Caldwell, Dimitri Vegas, Sarah Main, WePlay, Vicious, Mango Alley, Ministry of Sound.... Together with Alex Fiction Jakob founded the label Monkeeplatez .After spending one year in Ibiza his musical journey lead him back to Berlin.Coming from classical songwriting, Jakob's Tracks always have a focus on melody - the sets range from deep/tech to soulful/nineties house.
