Los Angeles native, Jerry Caratachea was born on July, 1995. Better known to his fans as JAYREEH, Jerry was raised in the same city he was born in, East Los Angeles, CA. He has focused on mastering the skill of DJing for over 7 years. Jerry has been listening to house/techno music since the early 2000s. His interest in music was introduced and influenced by his older family members and friends. His knowledge of mixing and music theory grew as he listened to his cousins who were in mariachi bands, attend house music events with friends and watching his friends Dj parties. Heavily influenced by the likes of Nicole Moudaber, Dennis Cruz, and Victor Romero. Coming from a Latin background gives him a advantage to Latin influences and unique sounds with tribal instruments
