KYONGPAUL ... is a Berlin-based techno/house live-band by jazz-drummer Hannes Dunker (Evelyn Kryger, Hannes Dunker Trio, MÖKKI) and producer Buddy Meyerholz (SYMBIZ). Based on an improvisational concept and with the use of self-made controllers, custom programmed software and electronic & acoustic drums, the Berlin-based duo creates a hypnotic, always danceable technoid sound. Beat-oriented, synth-heavy, analoge sounding, dusty; with soundscapes, bit-crusher and arpeggiator; filters, rooms and polyrhythms.
