I grew up in Shetland, a windswept island half way between Scotland and Norway. By day I skippered boats and helped run the family fish farming business. By night I was a psychedelic trance DJ at local clubs. After doing a fair bit of traveling, I was inspired by long days and nights partying in Goa, where the psychedelic trance scene was in full swing. Meanwhile back in Shetland, a surprisingly hardcore rave scene had taken hold, offering no end of opportunities to take to the decks. Keen to pursue a career in digital music, I left Shetland and headed to London, where he trained as an audio engineer at the SAE Institute and spent every spare minute making beats. After graduating, I took a detour from music to co-found a boutique digital agency
