Based in the SF Bay Area, re:run aka Michael Botello is emerging from the underground scene as an artist making bold and unconventional moves in the industry. His music, influenced by dark and cerebral atmospheres from artists like Rebuke, Ellis Moss, and Dog Blood, features percussive elements that speak to the primal instinct of the listener. Inspired by philosophers such as Albert Camus, re:run is setting the precedent for dance music to not just be an escape from reality but instead a rebellion towards it. Now working with Toolroom Records on his debut release "The Unknown", re:run has set his sights on venturing out from the underground scene and onto the global stage to be the voice for his community and their message to the world.
