TORTEKA aka Torsten Kreissl is a german DJ and Producer from Magdeburg. His musical journey began in the early 90's with a classical music education and an old keyboard. Not satisfied with merely playing in school, he began composing his own songs. From very early on he started to experiment with loops, sounds and sequences. His sound is influenced by the music of his formative years - a combination of 80s synth-pop bands and 90s techno and trance. After nearly 15 years producing music with his former Electropop band “Pandique”, he was creatively exhausted, so the music took a back seat for about seven years.
