Trading Fours

Multi-disciplined and diversely rooted, Trading Fours have honed all aspects of dance music in their DJing and productions, but like many of their Toronto contemporaries, their come-up was rooted in Jungle and Drum & Bass. "Trading Fours" is the term used when two improvisational Jazz musicians trade 4-bar solos back and forth in order to create a one-off musical experience. This aptly named duo have adopted this technique and applied it to their work whether performing or producing. Today the pair are known to maneuver skillfully through the vast spectrum of dance music and allow their influences to permeate throughout their sets and releases.
