Beat.5's (beatpointfive) music career started in his childhood when he was flying around old vinyls and busting open recorders. He grew up with disco, but as he reached his teenage he got interested in alternative music. That's where he got into producing. Cutting, mashing, re-sampling and modifying different jazz and hip-hop samples he grew into electronic dance music. Today he makes most of his samples and filters. In 2009 his first EP was released by the name of Offbeat - Mousekiller EP. Since it was released under a netlabel and therefor a free release, it was first uploaded to SonicSquirrel. The 5-track, minimal techno ,EP got so popular in few hours that it raised momentarily to the 11th place on the chart and crashed the SonicSquirrel server due to over-downloading. Pete
