Courage and inspiration describe the moment in which Cortez's career finds itself. The Brazilian, living in Japan since 2019, took on the mission of taking all the love and learning he received from Tupiniquim electronic music to the land of the rising sun. A DJ for 15 years, the São Paulo native has masterfully taken over the decks, making the floor dance with his dynamic sound that ranges from Tech House to Drum n’ Bass. Cortez's relationship with music goes back a long way. The passion for vinyls and more classic and Brazilian styles such as MPB and Bossa Nova run in his blood. He inherited the good taste of his great-grandfather conductor, and it was only a matter of time before he began to explore his talents on the dancefloor
