Jakobin

Jakobin is the solo project of DJ and producer Georg Nadler. Growing up in the 90s in rural upper Austria, Georg spent his time skateboarding and listening to lots of hip hop before witnessing the halcyon days of the Vienna downbeat era and later being introduced to Austrias club culture. Pursuing his growing passion for collecting vinyl, Georg started spinning his first records in the notorious „Kijani“ in Linz. There he invited Djs like the Vienna Scientists or the one and only Mr. Slack Hippy. After moving to Vienna, Georg had a two year residency alongside future label mate Simon Lebon in the Donau Techno, Vienna’s first adress for Techno music back then.
